Spider Man: Edge of Time: Coming 10/04/2011

Save Spider-Man -- The timelines of the Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 begin to unravel as a mysterious and nefarious villain goes back in time to remake the world in his image and kill Peter Parker, resulting in a chaotic, dystopian version of the future. Fans will take on the roles of both the Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099, who must overcome their differences and work together across time to prevent a disastrous new world order and save each other

  • Change the Future by Changing the Past -- Story-driven "cause-and-effect" moments make their debut in the Spider-Man Video game franchise. Utilizing exciting "picture-in-picture" visuals to enhance interactions between the Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099, see the immediate effects of one Spider-Man’s actions on the other’s timeline with expected - and sometimes unexpected - results
  • Race Against Time in an Epic Adventure -- Backed by a rich, complex story penned by veteran Marvel writer Peter David (co-creator of Spider-Man 2099), experience a thrilling, action-packed adventure with a deep story detailing the adventures of two similar, but uniquely different super heroes across a time-span of nearly a century
  • Harness the Unique Abilities of Each Spider-Man -- The combat abilities have been refined for the Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to really highlight the distinct fighting styles of each character, including a new Hyper-Sense mode for the fast and acrobatic Amazing Spider-Man and an Accelerated Decoy capability for the technologically advanced Spider-Man 2099

  • HORNET: Using equipment invented by Hobie Brown and a design by Mary Jane, Peter Parker created the persona of the high-flying, wise cracking Hornet. An anti-gravity harness enabled him to fly, and he was able to launch sedative stingers from his gauntlets. The Hornet was devised when a period of particularly intense criticism from the Daily Bugle, plus his being falsely wanted for murder, led to Peter's adoption of four alternate heroic identities. FIRST APPEARANCE: THE SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN #27
  • DUSK: The gloomy and mysterious Dusk brought out Peter's darker side. The costume itself originated in an alien dimension, rendering him virtually invisible in shadow. It also enabled him to glide short distances, and he would employ his own agility to supplement his movements. Dusk was devised when a period of particularly intense criticism from the Daily Bugle, plus his being falsely wanted for murder, led to Peter's adoption of four alternate heroic identities. FIRST APPEARANCE: PETER PARKER: SPIDER-MAN #90 (1998)
  • PRODIGY (GameStop Exclusive): Using equipment invented by Hobie Brown and a design by Mary Jane, Peter created the persona he described as, "so square he makes Captain America seem like a radical." The Prodigy armor enabled Peter to fly, and his own spider-strength was this persona's primary weapon. Prodigy was devised when a period of particularly intense criticism from the Daily Bugle, plus his being falsely wanted for murder, led to Peter's adoption of four alternate heroic identities. FIRST APPEARANCE: THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #256 (1998)
  • RICOCHET: With the help of Mary Jane, Peter created the brash, young persona of Ricochet, using his innate spider agility to describe his "ricochet powers," and lining his leather jacket with disc-shaped throwing weapons. The jacket itself was found at a thrift store, and it already featured the "R" insignia of a rodeo bar that had folded years beforehand - which soon after would come to signify New York City's newest super hero. Ricochet was devised when a period of particularly intense criticism from the Daily Bugle, plus his being falsely wanted for murder, led to Peter's adoption of four alternate heroic identities. FIRST APPEARANCE: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #434
Also available: Wii, 3DS & DS
