Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword: Coming 11/20/2011

As you step through the brush, you sense something is off. You creep slowly toward the river that meanders through this small clearing. You peer into the water and only see your reflection staring back at you. Taking a few deep breaths to calm yourself, you turn around to look up and see a massive monster towering over you. Pulling your sword from its sheath and raising your shield — you look skyward and get ready for an epic battle.

Embark on Link's greatest adventure yet with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Full motion control is supported by the Wii MotionPlus accessory (required) and allows Link's actions to mirror your movements on-screen. Draw a bow and fire it, toss bombs at enemies and use your whip to solve puzzles with clear accuracy. The precision play control links every action of Link's sword to your motions for intuitive gameplay. This new control applies to enemies as well — carefully plot your attacks, for your opponents actively try to defend themselves. New gameplay mechanics, beautifully designed visuals and intuitive controls allow you to begin Link's most exciting quest yet.

To summarize the reviews below, the critics have stated it is the best Wii game ever, the best Zelda game ever and the best video game with motion control.

My prediction is that this will be the must have game this Christmas season, get it now before there aren't enough copies to make that perfect gift for your loved ones.

Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Bundle includes The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword game, gold Wii Remote Plus controller and an orchestral music CD featuring select songs that will be performed at The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert

To summarize: If you want the bundle you should probably go with your favorite retailer that has it, except for Best Buy's Gamer's Club Buy 5, Get $100, there aren't really any special pre-order deals (I've noticed it's pretty rare for Wii games today), but the standard edition is only $49.99 at most retailers with the Bundle coming in at $69.99, Deep Discount (bottom of the page) offers the best price deal. As I understand it, the Bundle includes the remote that you need if you don't already have one.

  1. The Legend of Zelda series is one of the greatest video game franchises of all time, if not arguably *thee* greatest. With each release, Nintendo has showed us the magic of journeying through Hyrule's beautiful kingdom. Now, they have done it again, greatly injecting innovation into the tried-and-true formula of past titles. This is a Zelda game unlike any other, and feels all at once both an incredible nostalgic celebration of 25 years of history, and a wholly new adventure full of wild, awesome new directions

  2. Nintendo generates some of the best games around, no doubt about it. I wanted to get a Wii after reading about this game...
